Man Against the Machine 1

Last year I started posting my first 15mm SciFi batreps on Post Apoc Wargames and thought these could be shared here too...

The Situation here is that the machines took control over the planet.

Looking for survivors this squad of organized resistance fighters scanned a small deserted village when they heard a group of machines approaching...

 The NCO divided his squad in two five men teams to attack the machines from two sides...


coming into sight of the machines they received the first incoming fire loosing their medtech (ARGH!)



Outgunned the humans kissed the dirt. Only the heroic NCO returned fire incredibly throwing some of the robots to the ground.


The NCO and one of his braver men ran to the machines finishing two. The last robot standing was too surprised to react.



The machines were getting reinforcements from the northwest...



the reinforcement pinned the second half squad. One of them loosing his nerves and fleeing!



Damn! Even more reinforcements for the machines. This time coming from the northeast.



While finishing off more machines the NCO gets knocked down. His oh so brave squaddie ducks behind cover.



The machine follows. They exchange some shots resulting the squaddie to duck for cover once more.


The first reinforcement shoots again at the dirt kissing humans...



...blasting one of them to dust.



These try to get to their comrades in time.



the second reinforcement shoots the fleeing soldier wounding him heavily.



The NCO managed to get on his feet shoot the machine down.



This encouraged his brave squaddie to leave cover to exterminate the robot.



the rest of the second halfsquad got on their feet and downed two machines...



... while the second reinforcement attacked them from the side.



Surprised, one guy fleed, one got heavily wounded and the third jumped for cover.



The NCO and his brave squaddie try to reach the fleeing bastard to convince him to stay. 


But getting in sight of the machines the NCO again gets knocked down.



The last of the first reinforcement wants finish off the NCO but gets into sight of this cover seeking soldier.



The soldier downs the robot.



He even downs two more following machines...



... before getting shot himself.



The NCO couldn't rally the fleeing bastard so him and his oh so brave squaddie tried to get on higher ground to have an advantage over the machines. This made them down another robot.



The two guys from first halfsquad, who were hiding, now jump out of cover to finish of two machines.



The remaining machines get destroyed before getting back on their feet.



The NCO gets his last standing men together to call for extraction.



4 alive, 4 wounded and if someone sees that fleeing bastard just shoot him between the eyes. To bad we didn't find any hidden survivors

This was a typical game of 5150. I planned for the humans to have some reinforcements but kept getting reinforcements for the machines. Luckily the machines rolled soo bad that they weren't too much of a threat to the soldiers...

It was really a fun game. Could have done some better pics. Hope you still like it.
